To change the lead status of a single lead, use the dropdown menu within the lead page
To change the lead status of multiple leads at once, use the bulk update feature and select the leads you want to update
You can also filter leads by their current status to more easily find and update specific leads
You can create your own custom lead statuses by following a separate tutorial
When changing the lead status, it will be recorded in the lead timeline for tracking purposes

And this video going to show you how to change the lead status of your lead when you're inside the lead itself and there's another way you can change lead status within bulk and then of course you're now able to filter by lead status.
So once you're inside of a you have this little drop down here that will allow you to change this lead status. Now, videos to follow. You'll learn how to add your own status for your leads. And so in this case, if I've placed a phone call and I got voicemail and they didn't answer, you know, obviously it records a call and puts it in your entry here. But your going want to update that status. For you know, obviously tracking purposes, but easy filtering. You know if you want to follow-up with everybody that you've scheduled to follow-up with or anybody that's not interested. Maybe you want to send some sort of mail message to them or something right.
So here I can change this to voice mail. No answer and what that's doing is. It's obviously changing the status here for that, but it also includes in it you can always go back, especially if you're collab user going to see that Bruce update status, voice, no, no answer. So it just keeps a running tab of all your status changes. So every time you change that status, of course it changes here. But when you come back into that lead you'll see inside your lead timeline all the different things that have been changed. Just if you're monitoring leads or your cause, you know what's going on when it happened.
Also, in addition to that, you can do bulk updates so far to come in here. You know now I'm answered, not interest interested here as my latest lead status, and then I can click on filters and then only look for people who are answered not interested right. So now I have that filter on, I can remove that filter. You can do bulk updates. So if I were to come in here and select all, you can select all or select one at a time right. So you know, in this case if I just want to update one or update a whole, you know list of people can come in here and click on the status icon.
So when I click on status, can I have an option of selecting? You know, whatever your bulk or whatever your options are. If you're using the default, this is what we have and I can change that status which also when you go into it. Obviously it's going to provide that status update. So change in status real simple. You can do it bulk action or you can do it directly within the, you know, after you got off the call you can then update the lean status.
