To create and send a proposal:
First, create an opportunity in the system by clicking "create opportunity" and filling out the required information. This will automatically create a proposal in draft mode and assign it to the opportunity.
You can access the proposal by clicking on the icon or by clicking on the proposal link in the status of the opportunity.
In the proposal, you can add products and services, as well as a note with any additional details or terms.
After adding the necessary information, send the proposal to the lead by clicking "send proposal." This will send a personalized email with a link for the lead to view the proposal.
The lead can then view and accept the proposal, which will update the status of the proposal and the opportunity.
If the proposal is accepted, you as the sales rep will receive a notification and the opportunity status will be updated.
You can then move the opportunity to the next stage, such as "close won."

Okay, so then there I'm going to walk-through on how to create a proposal that's attached to your opportunity. So in previous video showed you had to create an opportunity to click and then create opportunity. Fill that out, or you can do it down here. Every time you create an opportunity there's always a proposal that's created in draft for you, that's assigned to that specific opportunity. That doesn't mean you have to use the proposal system. It's there. If you choose to use it to gain access to the actual proposal, you can do it in one of two ways: you can click on the icon here and go directly into the proposal or inside your opportunities you will see a proposal in the status of that proposal. In this case it's in draft mode, so you can click right here and that will take you into your actual proposal that you're going to create for your client.
So the way our proposal system is designed is like: you know, if you're talking to somebody and they're interested and they want in writing what it's going to cost. Maybe you have some customs service or consulting solution or whatever and you want to send them so they can see in writing what it cost. This is a great way to do that. One thing does integrate with stripes. So if you set up the integration or watch the video on a striped integration, you have an option of sinking this to strip and any products you create, and here will actually create products inside your stripe account and allow that lead to check out through the proposal. In this case I'm just going to do an offline one and so your options.
This is pulling in from your personalized IPO on the branding section. So you're loco, you're contact information for the company and then, of course, the information related to the lead and the opportunity and the proposal details, which would be the date. And then you also have your expiration date so you can set whatever expiration date for this proposal in those prices may not be good past that date. We also send some reminders out closer to the expiration date just to remind you that you know you haven't viewed or what status this proposal is in and you can start adding products right.
So in this case the first product I'm going to add into this platform, all you have to do is click on an item and if you've already created a product, you do have an option off searching for that product. And in this case I'm going to my first product. Any time you use a system like this and you type in, you'll see it appear below in blue. That simply means, when you're done typing, go ahead and select it. What this is doing is going out and looking for a product that matches. It didn't match because my first product and I'm going to go ahead and put in the price also the one time or subscription. In this case I'm going to do subscription. You can put quantity going to do one. You also have a description, description. Don't there's a product, and you also have a settings option to put in a discount or put in a tax. In this case I'm not going to put either, and once you add your product you can add another one if you choose, or just hit save products.
Now, all right, put in a note here. This can be whatever you want. This can be the terms. I could be a guarantee. This could be anything that you choose to put in there, and so at this point you can go out and your proposal. Just see what it looks like.
The details of this when you send this this track, such as accept, proposal, view, proposal, all that's built-in so when you send it in this case I am going to send this proposal to Bruce on Bruce in this user account. So I'm basically sending it to myself as a lead, but will let me go ahead and send proposal.
So what that's doing is actually sending a personalized email out. It's going to put the personalized link for Bruce to click on and you will also see in the status. So if I go back to my opportunity you'll see that my status has been changed to sent. So it's in cent status right now. So Bruce received it. I'm going to go ahead and look at it and it's just basically Bruce has prepared a new proposal for you that expires on such date view proposal.
So now Bruce clicks some new proposal and it's the same thing with the preview that you've seen. However, now your status is updated. So if I go back to my opportunity I'm in viewed status because now I'm viewed in the proposal and of course Bruce can reach back out, have questions. But as long as they accept this proposal they'll have a double confirmation. Yes, I accept, they go ahead and accept at this point this proposal's already accepted. So no matter how many times it comes back it's accepted, they can't accept it again. You as a sales rep get a notification that you know Bruce has accepted this proposal and then of course the opportunity status is now accepted.
So of course our going to want to move this over, to close one or whatever internal service, love agreements or whatever you have in place for your raps or yourself of when to move. Status is over for you. So now this proposal is accepted, and so it's just a quick, easy way to send something in writing for your products and services of what they cost and allow the user the prospect or lead to come in and and update, know whether they accept the proposal or not. So again, every proposal, every opportunity you create and again also shows up in the timeline. So you see, you know when that happened. If your cab user in here you have access to see that as well, and any opportunity you create, that proposal is automatically created and draft moved for you and you can either use it or not use it. But if you do use it through the steps, that's exactly how you send it.
