To create a data pixel:
Go to the "Control Settings" and "Integrations" section in your dashboard.
Click on the "Pixels" tab and then click "Add New Pixel".
Give the pixel an internal name (for organization purposes).
Click "Apply" and then click the "Embed" icon to get the embed script.
Copy the entire embed script and paste it into the head or above the closing body tag of your website.
Wait for data to start coming in (stats should start appearing within an hour).
In a future video, you will learn how to configure the pixel to pull data from forms on your website.

All right, so let's start configuring some of these modules here, so you can start in some states in your dashboard.
So the first step is to install a pixel. So if your going to build websites on our platform, you don't need to install that pistol to our internal websites. This is only for external website. So if you already have an existing website or another landing page or anything out there that you want to pull data in here we have what are called data pixels that allow you to track the data and also allow you to have leads that come in from your external forms or from your forms, not from our forms. They can actually go into the car as well into this platform. But first step is to get your web traffic going.
So first thing to do is to come over here under control settings and integrations and you're going to click on the pixels tap. Are you going to come over here and click on the add new pixel? So this is an internal name so you can name it. You know in this case i'm in Wayne Industries Workspace, so I'm going to name it Wayne Industries. I'm just going to call this WAN Industries. God lives, this domain is irrelevant. This is helpful if maybe you have multiple landing pages for the same company and you want to put the actual in. This is just for organization purposes. For yourself, the actual pixel has a unique identifier that pulls in. It's not domain. You know you don't need to authenticate your domain to put this picture and you can put it on any side. This just helps you organize what this pike is for. I'm going to go ahead and apply it to Wayne Industries and hit at so once I add this pixel, you can click here on the bed tag or imbed icon and this will give you your imbed script.
Now there's two parts, this in bed script, that are important. The first part is your tracking. So this part right here, is all you're tracking, so that's going to be for any your website visits. And then the second part is for scraping data. Now have other videos that go in detail about the difference between these two and if you have to use one or the other in most cases you're just going to grab this entire code or hit copy here and you're going to insert this into the above the close of the body of your website. You can also put in the head. You don't necessarily have to put it above the close. If you can't access in your website. That's the best place. That way it loads last. However, you can put it inside the head of your site, and so right now I'm going to go ahead and grab this script. I'm going to go out to my side and I'm going to add this.
Once you add that end, stats start coming in with every hour. So you'll start seeing stats, website traffic and things like that inside of your platform and then the next video. I'll show you how to configure the pixel to where you can actually get data from your forms that are on your website today.
